Work will be occurring 24-hours-a-day starting Sunday, June 25 at 8 p.m. through December. Crews will be installing new underground utilities including drainage infrastructure that will help prevent roadway flooding by moving stormwater to a designated detention basin.
Traffic Control Changes
Nightly through December 2023:
Southbound (SB) and northbound (NB) lanes reduced to a single lane between Farr Lane and Los Altos Parkway, starting between 8 and 9 p.m. each night
SB nighttime working hours: Sundays at 8 p.m. - Fridays at 5 a.m.
NB nighttime working hours: Sundays at 9 p.m. - Fridays at 7 a.m.
All lanes, both SB and NB, will be open during the daytime. Expect congestion delays through the work zone during peak hours. Pedestrians and cyclists will continue to use the designated, barrier protected path located on the east side of the highway.
