This week, crews began clearing the area in front of the Kohl's shopping center near Los Altos Parkway for roadway widening. Beginning Sunday, August 13 at 8 p.m. the secondary access to and from the Kohl's shopping center will be completely closed through October 2023. All traffic will detour to the primary access from Los Altos Parkway. The closure is necessary as the access will be removed and rebuilt in alignment with the new widened section of Pyramid Highway.
NDOT and Granite Construction encourage you to continue to patronize your local businesses during construction. All businesses in the work zone will remain accessible at all times.
Working hours are 24-hours-a-day through September: Sundays starting at 8 p.m. to Fridays at 4 p.m. During the nighttime hours, drivers can expect single-lane closures both northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) Pyramid. All lanes of traffic will be open during the daytime.
