Construction will temporarily pause for the Memorial Day holiday. Work will conclude today, May 23 at 5 p.m., and resume on the morning of Wednesday, May 29.
Resuming Wednesday, May 29:
Normal working hours in the summer are Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. Occasional night work is possible.
Crews will be pouring concrete for new sidewalks north of Los Altos Parkway, constructing the foundations for the final two sound walls on the east side of the highway, and placing decorative rock near Walmart.
Crews are also continuing median work in the center of Pyramid Highway between Queen Way and Los Altos Parkway. The inside lanes are closed to traffic and the new traffic pattern will remain in place through this fall.

Shared-use Path Now Open to Public Between Queen Way and Los Altos Parkway
The newly constructed 10-foot-wide shared-use path is now open for pedestrians and cyclists to safely travel between Queen Way and Los Altos Parkway. The path is located on the east side of the highway and protected from vehicle traffic by permanent barrier rail.
